About HEMSPN

Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing

Hannah E. Mullins School of Practical Nursing (HEMSPN) offers both full-time and part-time classes. Both classes prepare graduates for the NCLEX-PN licensing exam.

Our Program

Full-Time:
  • 44-weeks in length over 11 months (less than 1 year!)

  • Classes start every March and September

  • Theory days: Monday-Thursday (except when holidays fall within the week), 8:00AM-4:00PM

  • Clinical days: (varies depending on level) Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday; 6:30AM-2:30PM

Part-Time:
  • 88-weeks in length over 23 months (less than 2 years!)

  • Classes start in September

  • Classes Tuesday through Thursday, one day 9:00AM-2:30PM, and the other two days 9:00AM-2:00PM

  • Clinical Days(varies depending on level) 6:30AM-12:00PM
